Agreement to terms

By creating an account or using Centences, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users including free, paid, and guest users.

What Centences is

Centences is an anonymous thought-sharing platform. Users post short thoughts publicly and anonymously. There are no likes, comments, or follower counts. Posts are visible to anyone who visits the platform.

Your account

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of someone else.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Centences. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Content rules

You are responsible for everything you post on Centences. You agree not to post content that:

• —Is illegal or facilitates illegal activity
• —Harasses, threatens, or targets specific individuals
• —Contains hate speech based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality
• —Includes personal information about others without their consent (doxxing)
• —Is spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation
• —Contains sexually explicit content
• —Impersonates another person or entity
• —Violates the intellectual property rights of others

Moderation

All posts are reviewed by an automated moderation system before appearing publicly. We reserve the right to remove any post that violates these terms, and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our content rules.

If your post is removed, you will be notified by email if you have notifications enabled. You may contact us at thoughts@centences.com to appeal a moderation decision.

Plans and payments

Centences offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your profile page. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at thoughts@centences.com.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you post on Centences. By posting, you grant Centences a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your content on the platform.

The Centences name, logo, and platform design are the intellectual property of Centences and may not be used without permission.

Anonymity and privacy

While your posts are displayed anonymously, Centences maintains an internal record linking posts to accounts for moderation purposes. We will not publicly disclose your identity, but may be required to do so if compelled by law. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.

Disclaimer of warranties

Centences is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times or free from errors. We are not responsible for any content posted by users.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Centences shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users by email if we make significant changes. Continued use of Centences after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
