The idea
We live in a world that rewards the loudest voices and the most polished takes. Centences is the opposite of that. It's a quiet wall where anyone can leave a thought and walk away. Some thoughts are funny. Some are heavy. Some are the kind of thing you'd never say out loud but have been carrying around for weeks.
That's exactly the point.
Why anonymous?
Because anonymity changes what you're willing to say. Not in a reckless way, but in an honest one. When your name isn't on something, you stop writing for an audience and start writing for yourself. The result is usually more true, more raw, and more interesting than anything you'd post under your real identity.
Why does it cost a penny?
The penny isn't really about the money. It's about intention. Free platforms fill up with noise because there's no reason not to post. A small cost, even symbolic, means every thought on the wall was worth something to the person who left it. That changes the quality of what you find here.
Who is this for?

Centences was built by Dave, a one-person team with a simple belief: that expression shouldn't require an audience. This is still early. Things will grow and change. But the core idea won't.
